Few months ago we accomplished 2nd and 3rd floor addition on existing foundation. We are pleased to share the homeowner's review of our work on Trusted Pros website

The final step to a hew home (after all the inspections have been passed)  is a final walkthrough with the homeowners to acquaint them with the house features, operations of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, warranty coverage and so on. During this final, and the most important inspection, we always get feedback from the homeowner about the craftmanship of our work, homeowner's experience building a house with our crew, and we are extremely pleased when our customers make their reviews public.

Below is the review on the home addition project completed a few months ago.

"Alex and the Wellcore team were professional, courteous, honest and responsive. They helped guide us through an arduous permitting and construction process which helped us turn our two bedroom post-war bungalow into a spacious, three story, five bed, 4.5 bathroom dream home. Like all renovation projects, we ran into challenges, but none were too challenging for this experienced team. A special thanks to Nat, Vince and Eugene. Well planned, well timed and well built, I would recommend Wellcore to anyone with home renovating needs".

Thank you very much, Nick, for your sincere words. Our team did our best so you could enjoy the comfortable living for the decades to come.

How to Obtain a Building Permit in Toronto in 2026: A Step-by-Step Guide

Obtaining a building permit in Toronto requires compliance with the Ontario Building Code and the City’s Zoning By-law 569-2013. Most residential additions, structural alterations, and multi-unit conversions require formal approval from the Toronto Building Department. The two most common causes of delay are zoning non-compliance and incomplete documentation. A coordinated permit-ready submission - supported by accurate zoning review and professional engineering where required - significantly improves approval timelines. For homeowners and investors planning duplex conversions, additions, or new residential construction in Toronto, early feasibility review is the most effective way to reduce regulatory risk.
